Hoping to catch the elusive German sexton beetle, Nicrophorus germanicus, schoolboy Menno Schilthuizen did a carrion beetle trapping study in Oosterbeek in 1982. Now, 40 years on, he will team up with today’s local schoolchildren to see how the carrion beetle fauna has been altered by environmental change.
